These are challenging times for the broadcast industry. As more media organisations enforce home working, the spread of the coronavirus may well be speeding up the transition to remote production. Here at Hitomi we're working remotely ourselves but are still available to help and support our customers new and old. We're delighted to be able to make our own contribution for easier, professional-looking remote broadcasting with the launch of our free iOS app for fast and precise remote lip-sync measurement that can be used by reporters or presenters wherever they are.
NAB 2020, April 19 - 22, Booth SL5121 – Hitomi Broadcast, manufacturer of MatchBox, the industry’s leading audio video alignment toolbox, and the new MatchBox Glass app for near instant lip-sync alignment of mics and cameras, will be running live demos on its stand at NAB this year to showcase their capabilities for live broadcast.

Membership of SVG Europe has delivered a wealth of networking opportunities with key influencers and specialists in the live production environment. Not only has this assisted with sales but more importantly provided valuable user feedback shaping future product development. Hitomi strongly believes in delivering solutions tailored to the needs of sports broadcasting. Attendance of SVG events is an excellent way to observe and discuss future trends of a fast-changing industry.
Our membership also offers the opportunity to publish articles and provides us with a channel in which to highlight our products in use by members. Showing the effectiveness of our equipment in real live applications boosts customer confidence as “seeing is believing”.
For these reasons we had no hesitation in renewing our membership and look forward to a long and productive association with SVG Europe.
Viacom International Media Networks Media and Technology Services (MTS) used MatchBox for the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville, Spain, on 3 November for a rock solid performance.
If you’re watching anything on, for example, UHD Sky Sports and many other sports broadcasters around the world, there’s a very good chance that the audio and video are synced using our MatchBox technology. Production companies, mainly for sport but not exclusively, either buy or hire MatchBox devices to cover football, cycling, motor racing, golf, rugby, baseball, sailing, tennis, major international games – and increasingly, eSport - you name it both domestically and internationally.
